Additional information
Supplies
We bring our own supplies and tools as we have tested our products to ensure they provide quality results, our cleaners are trained in the proper handling of our supplies, and this removes any need for you to keep stock of cleaning supplies. If you prefer the use of your own supplies, you must call ahead to let us know so we are prepared to use your products. By using your products, you waive liability for Roses Cleaning Services LLC in the event of damages that occur when using your products (including, but not limited to, damages to furniture, counters, flooring, or damages to employees).
Ladders
Our cleaners will be supplied with 2-3 step ladders to reach higher locations within the space to provide a more thorough cleaning. Locations in the home out of our reach will be cleaned by using extension dusters to the best of our ability.
Blinds
We offer to clean blinds that are a minimum of 2″ in depth when you purchase a deep cleaning package, thereby excluding mini slat blinds from a full service. Blinds will be vacuumed prior to cleaning, which may result in dust being released into the air. Our cleaners will wait a period of time for dust to settle before cleaning, but we cannot guarantee all dust to be settled by the end of service. We cannot be held liable for blinds/shutters that have dry rot, sun damage, and/or are not installed properly.
Moving Furniture
We will move “light” furniture, but we do not move refrigerators, stoves, washers, dryers, etc. We will try to reach all visible places either by hand or with an extension duster.
Pets
Your pets are members of your family and we respect that. However, if your pet is afraid of vacuums, territorial, or overly friendly and will not allow us to do our work, we may suggest that they be placed in areas that we are not working in. Our technicians are not trained to clean pet excrement, this includes cleaning litter boxes and dog kennels.
Fire Arms
For our protection and yours, if you have firearms, we ask that all are stored and locked away prior to our arrival. We will not clean a room where a firearm is visibly present, and should one be discovered during the cleaning (such as under a mattress or pillow), we will cease service to that room until the firearm is stored safely away.
Insects
Insect infestations can be a problem and may prevent us from properly cleaning a location. In the case of such infestation, such as ants, termites, roaches, fleas, or bed bugs, we will cease cleaning services until this problem is rectified. Should an infestation or large number of dead insects in a location be found, we will make note through photo evidence and submit this to you as a notice to please find means of removing these insects from the location.
Alarm System
If your location has a security system, please inform us prior to our arrival on how to handle it. The security of your location is important to us at Roses Cleaning Services LLC, and our policy is to maintain locked entrances while we clean to bar access from unknown individuals who otherwise should not have access. Without prior notice, we will refuse to open any doors to allow for entrance to any individual who does not have personal access, including workmen, family members, and office employees. Please note also that it is not necessary for you to disarm your alarm systems on the day of service. We recommend contacting your alarm company, if needed, to provide our team with a personalized code for disarming the system to allow us entrance. This protocol allows for you to view a log of when our team enters and exits your location through tracking the use of this code.
Safety
The safety of our cleaners is extremely important. To decrease risk of injury to our cleaners we are unable to move heavy object, flip mattresses, etc. without prior notice to cleaning so arrangements for movement can be made. We are unable to clean up vomit, blood, urine, or excrement to maintain the health of our cleaners. Should a cleaner at any time feel their personal safety is in danger, and the cleaners must leave the location, the client is still responsible for the full cost of all fees related to the job. To prevent this from happening, please read through our policies to ensure all practices are followed, specifically in regard to fire arms.
Key Control Policy
As many clients are without security systems using keypad entrances, keys are often provided to our cleaners. To ensure no loss of property nor damage to the location occurs, all keys are number coded and are digitally labeled with the client’s information and street address. This allows for easy retrieval of keys and provides efficient tracking of when keys are used. Upon completion of contracted service, all keys are returned in their original state to the owner.
If you decide not to issue a key to Roses Cleaning Services LLC, and no individual will be on site to allow for entrance, you may choose to leave a key in a secure location for us to retrieve upon arrival. In this case, you release Roses Cleaning Services LLC of any liability that may arise from damages or theft that may occur to your location as we cannot guarantee we are the only ones who could gain access to the location should a third party find such key before us.
Injuries in Your Home
Our cleaners are insured through Roses Cleaning Services LLC and all injuries to cleaners will be covered, protecting you from any liability when injury is a result of our own actions.
Payment
We accept VISA, MasterCard, AMEX, Check, Venmo, and Cash. Payment plans are available for long term contracts, and single cleanings will require payment to be made in full the day service is received. We require all cards used be kept on file to ensure no transactions bounce unless you pay in cash before the cleaners leave your home. For single service jobs, no invoice will be made without prior request. Should late payments occur, a fee of $10 per day will be added to the balance due until payment is cleared and received. In the unfortunate event that we are unable to collect on past due payments, accounts will be forward to a collection agency and will be pursued to the full extent of the law.
Fees
Services using an hourly fee schedule will be billed by labor hour, e.g. one cleaner for one hour = one labor hour; two cleaners for one hour = two labor hours. Roses Cleaning Services LLC reserves the right to adjust our rates and policies at any time. State law requires we collect sales tax, which will be added to our fees. Tips are always appreciated, but never required. To leave a tip, call in to add tip to your outstanding balance, or leave cash in a clearly marked envelope for our cleaners to collect after services are rendered.
Scheduling
When scheduling your appointment, we reserve a day and time for you and you alone. Our cleaners depend on your job being there at that time in order to make their salary. Cancellations cost them dearly. Like you, they expect a consistent, steady income, and if not received they will begin to look for other places for employment. Accordingly, we have implemented the following policies:
Cancelation Fee
We require cancellations to be communicated to us a minimum of 48 hours (2 full working days) in advance to avoid any charges. We have held your spot and turned down business for that time to not interrupt your service. Cancelations communicated less than 48 hours (2 full working days) prior to appointment, but more than 24 hours (1 full working day) will be charged a fee of $35 per scheduled cleaner (up to, but not exceeding, the full price of scheduled services). Cancelations communicated less than 24 hours (1 full working day) will be charged the full price for your scheduled cleaning.
Lock Out / Turned Away Fee
In the event we arrive on our scheduled cleaning day and are turned away at the door for any reason, or are unable to enter the location, we will attempt to call twice to complete service. Should cleaners find themselves unable to enter or are turned away following the calls, we will charge the full price for the scheduled service as a cancelation fee.
Skipped or Missed Cleaning Visits
Our charges are based on the scheduled frequency of our visits and the contracted duration we maintain our service to you. If you decide to skip a cleaning for any reason, cancelation fees may be applied, as detailed above, at the schedule rate of your service. Should the next cleaning following your skipped service result in a prolonged cleaning period due to excess work, you will be charged twice for that cleaning service as reconciliation.
Notify the Office
ALL cancelations must be made by phoning the number listed on site.
Solicitation of Staff
By using our services, you agree not to solicit for hire any cleaner or employee introduced to you by Roses Cleaning Services LLC for any reason in relation to services you are receiving. If you are found to have solicited one of our staff, be advised that our referral fee is $3,500.
Damages
Accidents happen, however infrequent. Should our cleaners be responsible for damages to your location or any items therein, we will take photos of the accident after it occurs to correctly document the extent of damages we caused. We will leave a note for you immediately after, and you will be contacted by us shortly after. Roses Cleaning Services LLC will make every attempt to repair, replace, or compensate you for any items that have been damaged. However, we will not assume liability for any pre-existing damages, scratches, dings, or other flaws in windows, paint, furniture, floors, walls, appliances, office equipment, or any other item within the location. Should damages be discovered while cleaning, photos will be taken from different angles to document the damages and a notice will be made to you about damages we find, releasing Roses Cleaning Services LLC from assuming liability. Items of monetary or sentimental value should be put away on the day of cleaning. All surfaces to be cleaned (i.e. marble, granite, hardwood floors, walls, etc.) are assumed to be properly sealed and ready to be cleaned without causing damage or harm when our cleaning solutions are applied. Should a surface be unstable or not properly ready for cleaning, prior notice must be given.
Release of Liability
In the event you request our cleaners to clean items of monetary or sentimental value, the following applies: Client hereby releases Roses Cleaning Services LLC from all liability arising out of cleaning these item(s); The client understands that they are solely responsible for repairing or replacing any damaged items(s) even in the event that Roses Cleaning Services LLC may have caused the need for repair or replacement.
Wear and Tear
The longer a space is used or lived in, the more wear and tear builds up in them. Baseboards, shower and tub floors, mold or mildew, excessive water spots and soap scum on glass, worn flooring, grout, window tracks, etc. are all areas where wear and tear will impact results. These areas may take more than one cleaning to improve in appearance or may not come clean at all. For questions or concerns regarding wear and tear, call ahead of requesting service to ensure you know what we be able to cover.
Holidays and Closings
Our office is closed and there will be no cleanings scheduled on the following holidays:
New Year’s Day
Memorial Day
Independence Day
Labor Day
Thanksgiving Day
Christmas Day
Arrival Time / Hours
Our hours of operation are from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm with our cleaners arriving at our first location between 8:00 and 8:30 am and arriving at our last location no later than 3:00 pm. Unless you are our first cleaning of the day, we are unable to provide an exact time of arrival, instead providing a 2 hour window for arrival (businesses excluded when arrival times are contracted). Please note that if you intend to wait for our arrival to allow us access to the location and you are not there, we will enforce our cancelation policies as stated above.
